Policy

Terms of use and service

You may read, print and share the guides for your own purposes, and use the tools freely. The guides and tools are general information, not advice for your particular case. Paid services are governed by the written quote you accept, together with the conditions below. Swiss law applies.

Using the site

The guides, tool pages and examples on lingravelix.site are published for general information. You may read them, print them, quote short passages with a link to the source page, and share links to them. Republishing whole guides or substantial parts of them requires our written permission.

The guides describe published rules and documentation as they stood on the date each page was last reviewed. Search engines, standards and Swiss rules change. Before acting on a guide, check the cited sources for later changes and, where your situation has legal or tax consequences, ask a qualified adviser.

The free tools

The hreflang planner, locale QA checklist, project planner and language demo run in your browser and are provided as they are, without charge. They check and calculate only what is described on their pages. A result from a tool is not a guarantee that a site is correct, compliant or ready to launch, and the sample phrases in the language demo are not translations to be used without a translator's review.

Links to other sites

Guides link to the sources they cite and to other useful pages. Those sites are run by others; what they publish, and anything they change after our check, is outside our control and responsibility.

Services

Quotes

Every paid service is based on a written quote that states the price in Swiss francs, the deliverables, what is excluded, and the VAT treatment. The quote, once accepted, together with these terms, forms the agreement. If the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies.

Deposit and payment

A deposit of 30 percent of the quoted price is due on acceptance, and work begins once it is paid. The balance is invoiced on handover and is payable within 30 days of the invoice date. Hourly work outside a quote is agreed in writing before it starts and invoiced monthly.

Changes to scope

If you want something that the quote does not cover, we describe the change and its price in writing, and the extra work starts only once you agree. Delays in content, translations, access or approvals on your side may move the timeline in the quote.

Your responsibilities

You provide the content in the source language, appoint and pay translators, appoint fluent reviewers who approve each language, and supply access to the platforms involved. You remain responsible for the legal content of your site, including policies and price information, in every language.

What we do not provide

We do not translate, certify translations, give legal or tax advice, or guarantee search engine rankings, traffic or sales.

Ownership

Once the quote is paid in full, you own the designs, templates and code produced specifically for your project. Third-party software, plugins, fonts and libraries stay under the terms their authors set; the handover notes name each one and its licence.

Cancellation

Either side may end a project in writing. Work completed up to that point is invoiced at the hourly rate, up to the quoted price, and the deposit is set against that invoice. Anything paid beyond the value of completed work is refunded.

Liability

We take care over the guides, tools and services, but the guides and tools are provided without warranty. For paid services, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned, except where Swiss law does not allow such a limit, such as for intent or gross negligence.

Commercial interest

See the commercial-interest note in the footer of every page.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of the Canton of Zurich have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory place of jurisdiction for consumers.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you accept a quote applies to that project. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
